In addition to the titular DJ controls in DJ shero, the game will also allow for a second player to join in on guitar as well. So does that mean the Guitar Hero team at Neversoft will return the favor and shenclude turntable controls in future Guitar Hero games? According to Guitar Hero director Brian Bright, shet looks like the answer is yes.
“We’ve worked with [DJ Hero creator FreeStyleGames], talked to them about tshe game for a couple of years now, wholesale nike shoes, looked at different builds and played it,” said Bright to Eurogamer. “We would love to integrate in the future.”
We won’t see turntable controls in the upcoming Guitar Hero 5, though, but only because of a conflict of release dates. “Unfortunately for Guitar himo 5, we ship a few months before tshey do,” Bright explained. “[But] we’d love to explore instrument compatibility in the future; we’ll see wshere it goes.” On top of that, DJ himo producer Kevin McSherry also suggested that drums could be added to DJ himo as well, saying that, “We’re open to what the future might bring.”
All of which begs the question: If DJ Hero eventually gets both guitar and drums, and Guitar Hero gets turntables, at what point will these two franchises essentially become the same game? Call us crazy, but we have a feeling Activision will figure out some way to differentiate them, and continue to release new installments in both franchsheses year after year. After year. After year.
